GROJBAND: LANEY'S DIARY- PART 3
Corey looks at Laney on the ground, who has a sweet smile on her face. Kin walks up to Corey, "Hey Corey, how come did you ask Laney if you could visit at her house?" Corey walks far from Laney and tells Kin and Kon, "I have a plan, that may or may not go well, depending on the situation." Kon gets a suspicious look, "What are you suggesting?" Corey sighs and looks down, "Well, I... I do need lyrics, and Trina's diary is locked. Who knows where the key is?" Corey gulps, "Laney has a diary, and if it's not locked, then..." Kin shakes his head, putting his hand on Corey's shoulder. "You know what Laney said, Corey. Dark secrets that must never be revealed to other souls?" Kon shivers, "Yeah, and won't this make Laney angry if you look in her diary?" Corey frowned, "I have thought about that, but if I have nothing to write about, what can I do?" Kin shrugs, "At least don't hurt Laney. But there is an alternative." Corey has a confused look, "What do you mean, like Alternative Rock?" Kin responds, "No. Look, we've been here playing in this garage for a long while, and never been to Laney's house. So, what I'm saying is to hopefully grab ideas from there. Get inspired in some way from Laney." Corey slowly smiles, "Hey, that would be a better idea. Maybe I can do that. Thanks, Kin." Kin nods, "No problem, Corey." Corey hears a soft groan and turns his head around to see Laney getting up.
Laney opens her eyes and gets up slowly, "I'm sorry about that overreaction, Core. I was just happy that you wanted to come spend the night at my house." She blushes while Corey nods. After a second, Laney gets a annoyed look, "Wait a minute, why do you even WANT to come over to my house?" Corey takes a step back, seeing Laney's suspicious glare. He then chuckles sighly, "It's just that it'd be the first time I'd spend the night over with you." Laney rolls her eyes and speaks in a dull tone, "Everyone's coming, aren't they?" Corey shakes his head, "No Lanes, it will be just me. You and me." At that moment, Laney's eyes widened and her mouth is an "O" expression. She smiles wide, "Really?" But then, she gives another suspicious frown, "Wait, you're not going to try to READ my diary, ARE you?!" She blushes after asking the question, and Corey responds, "Nope, this is not for the diary. This is just for you. Just a way of being nice."
Laney smiles and blushes, "Understood." Corey smiles back, "Well, I should get my stuff ready." Laney nods, "Okay Corey, hurry back!" Corey quickly goes into his room to pack up his night clothes in a suitcase. He walks to Trina's door and knocks on it twice. In a second, Trina opens the door and growls, "What, Corey Riffin?!" She then looks at the suitcase Corey's holding, making her slightly smile, "Say, what's the suitcase for? Not moving are you?" Corey smiles and shakes his head, "Well, I decided to spend the night at Laney's house. It's just for a simple visit." Trina smiles more at Corey, "Aw... I knew you'd like each other. That's why you want to spend the night." Corey hears what Trina said, giving him a puzzled look, "What?" Trina giggles, "It's obvious. And don't worry, you can spend how ever many nights you want over there. Bye little brother." She slams the door, leaving Corey confused for a few seconds. Then he shrugs, "That was weird, even for Trina." Corey then walks back into the garage, thinking about how the night with Laney Penn would turn out.
Corey walks to Kin and Kon, "Alright guys, I will be seeing you tomorrow." Kon nods, "You have fun, Corey." Kin smiles and smirks, "But not TOO much fun, if you know what I mean." Both Kin and Kon laugh while Corey chuckles. Laney smiles and walks to Corey, "Are you ready, Core?" Corey smiles back, "Yes Lanes, lets go." The band begin to leave the garage. The outside is close to being a sunset. While Kin and Kon leave to the right, Laney stops and closes the garage door. Corey chuckles, "Hey, I'm supposed to do that." Laney giggles at that, "Oh please, Core. You can take a break from it." Corey walks with Laney, starting the way to her house. Laney holds his hand, making Corey give a puzzled look, "Um, bro?"
Laney rolls her eyes, "Core, relax. This is not weird. Besides, don't think a dude is holding your hand, but a GIRL." Corey looks at Laney shocked, but then shrugs and slightly smiles, "Well, I don't want to get lost..." Laney nods, "That's right. Now come on, Cor." The two continue their walking...

"It's the least I can do, Core." Laney smiled. "Where to next?"
