GROJBAND: LANEY'S DIARY- PART 2

Corey picks up the diary again, sweating and feeling worried. He holds on to the front and back covers of the diary, and tries to roughly open it, but the lock still stays in its place. Corey exclaims, "No, this cannot be happening! How am I going to get lyrics now?" He begins to hear footsteps and quickly puts the diary down. He sees a tall girl with long pink hair, wearing a white shirt, and a purple skirt. "Oh," says Corey in a low tone. "Hello, Trina."

Trina Riffin glares at Corey while looking at her dairy, "Corey, were you trying to open my diary?" Corey jumps and takes a step back, "Uh no, Trina! I was just noticing the big, silver lock that was on it." Corey gulps while looking at the locked diary, "W-what was that lock for, exactly?" Trina walks close to Corey, staring at him, "Well, I have decided to keep my diary more secure. This will be helpful to me so a certain sibling won't tamper around with it." Corey chuckles awkwardly, "But Trina, I would never mistreat your diary." Indeed, Corey assumes he hasn't been mistreating her diary, since he only uses it to help create lyrics. Trina rolls her eyes, "I just want to be more sure. Besides, you remember when the Newmans read a page of my diary in front of LOTS of people, just to use for lyrics?" Corey remembers that time, though he knows techincally that the Newmans were controlled by Orb-like aliens for a Battle of the Bands competition. Corey shyly nods, "Why yes, Trina. I remember." Trina smiles, "Well, I just don't want my diary to go into any more wrong hands, or bands for that matter, so YOU'RE not going to get my diary to use for lyrics, or something!" Trina grabs her diary and leaves the living room.

She turns her head around to Corey,  "For a band that stinks, I know even YOU can come up with better lyrics." Corey hears her door slam and frowns, "I don't think I can." Corey sighs and walks back into the garage, feeling quite upset at this situation. Laney looks at him. "Hi there Co-hey, what's the matter?" Corey stands in front of the gang and sighs again, "This is not good, guys. It's like the end of the world for us." Kon gasps, "Like the Apocalypse?!" Corey exclaims, "More like the Arockalypse! Or the Lyricalypse, or... well I'm getting off track!" He folds his arms in anger, "What I'm trying to say is that, Trina has locked her diary!" Kin and Kon gasps, while Laney's eyes widened. "Yes guys, it's locked! N-now I can't even use it for lyrics!" Corey breathes heavily, "What are we going to do now?!" Corey groans and holds his guitar, trying to strangle it, "I need lyrics!" Laney gasps and runs up to Corey, "Core! Calm down, okay? I know you're upset, but maybe... this will be helpful for us." Corey sniff and glares at her, "What do you mean, Lanes?" Laney puts her hands on her hips, "Look, we have been using Trina's diary for a long time. Maybe it's finally time to make our own lyrics. Without using the diary to help." Corey sighs, "Well, I guess that's what we'll have to do." Kin responds, "Yes, no need to cry over locked diaries. We can do this." Kon smiles and chuckles, "Indeed. We can come up with better lyrics than in a girl's frilly, girly, sparkly, lame diary."

Laney rolls her eyes, "A girl's diary is not just girly things. It has our personal feelings and thoughts." Corey smiles, "Our? Come on, Lanes. I know you're not anything like that. You're a dude like us." Laney smirks, "Yeah, a dude like you. Well, I just don't want to see anymore craziness over a diary, because we're going to have an intervention if you go crazy." Corey chuckles, "Don't worry, I'll be fine. It'd be hard to make lyrics... and I DO wish I had that DIARY! I NEED it!" Kon proceeds to slap Corey on the face to calm him down. Corey then smiles, "Thank you, Kon." Laney has her mouth open, "We're really going to help you, Corey. It's a good thing no diaries are here. I leave mine at home." Corey smiles, "That's great, Lanes. That means I can feel more comforatable with knowing you don't have yo-your WHAT?!"

Laney realizes what she has said and sighs, "Look, yes, I have a diary! I'm not obsessive with it like Trina, but yes, it's true." Corey stands back a bit, "You're kidding, right man?" Laney snarls, "I AM a girl too, Corey!" Kon looks around, then at Laney, "You're a girl?" Kin and Kon begin laughing while Corey chuckles. Laney folds her arms, "What's wrong with me having a diary?" Corey walks to Laney, "We're just joking, Lanes, but we were NOT expecting this from you." Laney glares at the boys, "Yes, some surprise, isn't it? Tomboy has a diary." Corey then smiles at that thought, "Yes, it IS a surprise... a helpful surprise." Laney gasps at Corey's look, "Corey, what are you thinking?" Corey looks at Laney, "Well, if all Trina has is teen angst and junk, maybe your stories are more intresting." Laney has her mouth open, "Corey! I can't believe you're suggesting this! No one, and I mean NO one is going to look in my diary except for my own eyes. Trust me Cor, my diary has some dark secrets that should NEVER be revealed to souls like yours." Kin and Kon "Ooh" at that comment.

Corey frowns, "Oh well, that was a plan for me." Laney nods, "I guess there's one page that has angst you can use, but I still suggest NO going in my diary!" Laney looks at her watch, "It's 5:45. I'm going to get myself an early dinner. I'll see you guys tomorrow."Laney opens the garage door, and  Corey waves sadly, "Well, bye Lanes." Laney sees the frowning and walks to Corey, "Corey, don't feel sad. I know you can come up with some lyrics, and we will help." She smiles and gives him a playful punch on the arm. Corey smiles and punches on Laney's arm back, chuckling. Laney blushes and smiles wide, "Well, can't be here too long, Core. Gotta go home." Corey nods, "Okay Lanes, see you tomorrow." He then gets another thought, "Unless..." As Laney is about to leave, she turns her head to Corey, "Yes, Corey?"

Corey gulps and looks at Laney, "Well, how about I... spend the night at your house?" Laney's eyes widened as her pupils shrink. She smiles and stutters, "Y-you want t-to go t-to my house?!" She lets out a lovely sigh and faints on the ground...

Here it is, the 2nd part of Laney's Diary. And much longer too. And suggested by the title, the band learns more on Laney.
